The Asylum’s 2019 mockbuster was released simultaneously with Godzilla King of the Monsters. Monster Island focuses on an island known as Monster Island. Here a monster can be seen, and who itself is kind of the Island.

This movie is about asylum and (page) has a budget similar to a large kid's meal. It focuses on few characters and keeps the big names in one set, where they can all be shot over lunch. We must not forget that this movie is a kaiju film and, well... that's kind of how they work. So maybe The Asylum won’t be so terrible with it?
